How rare is your rare?

I know that its been a while since X, Grace or myself have posted but I personally have been feeling like I've nothing to really post about. However, I'll try and update everyone what X and myself have been up to. With Wintertusk having came out, we rushed Tristan and Kieran there to work on it as much as we possibly could, but it took us a lot longer than most people due to our internet connection and the fact that my laptop isn't all that great and the crowdedness makes my computer struggle playing the game properly. But, we made it through to the last area of Wintertusk without doing it, and haven't looked back since. We haven't even thought about heading to Crab Alley since everyone states the Waterworks is very hard and we are but two people that travel around the spiral together. So we gained our new level 58 pets and worked hard to getting to where we are.

I hath achieved eternal greatness;

At least on my main alt, Kieran Storm. Only things I really need to work on for him, are a few badges here and there. Mostly the ones in MB because as much as I love the world, and it may be my favorite, I absolutely hate running around there. I have achieved the title of Grandmaster Gardener. I did this a couple weeks ago, but I've been sick, and busy writing another blog that I was hoping would be finished by now, but its not..due to some confusing stuff (at least in my mind) that I need to sort out with it, before publishing.

Yes, I was using Silver Trumpet Vines, but it just so happens that's all I really was benefiting from harvest wise. In terms of what it gives. I plan on when I have more time and opportunity, making space for lots and lots of plants. But right now I'm also trying to level up some of my pets which means I can't be using my energy on gardening. Maybe when the new update comes out where we gain energy faster, but as of right now. Nope. Currently on Kieran I'm farming the REAL Cuthalla that drops Spiny Fish. No luck yet. So wish me luck please. I really want that pet!

Orthrus Galore

So, as mentioned briefly in Z's last post, we did indeed finally take the Legend Twins, Ryan and Reed on the last quest before reaching Celestia. (Excluding the optionals of course, Briskbreeze and the Warehouse) Here are some of my favorite shots of Ryan using Orthrus.(More on the Mali run in a later post by Z.)

I must say that playing myth, isn't all that easy. It's not hard, necessarily, don't get me wrong, but it has proven at times to be even more challenging than using storm. But I can't help but always have fun when playing on Ryan, I've definitely grown a liking to her. 

The Final Countdown

So, while Z and I were waiting for Grace to be able to play again in CL, we finally took the leap and jumped on our myth team to do the last quests we had in Dragonspyre. It is official, we have the quest now to enter the last dungeon before heading off to Celestia. We had a lot of fun playing them, but as usual, being out of senses so to speak, having not played myth in a couple months, it took some time getting back in to the swing of things. But pretty soon we were kicking DS butt, and hatching our drake.

Happy Thanksgiving and Why KI, WHY?!

So, first off, congratulations to the winners of our contest. You've all been emailed with instructions on how to get a hold of us, etc. Second, Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate. And to those that don't: Happy Last Thursday in November! Third, WHY KI, WHY am I seeing drops like this? I thought that maybe, just maybe it was random or something...and that it would go back to normal. However, it's not getting any better. On average, I get one drop per battle, where as Tristan gets 4 drops per battle, on average. 

How is this fair? He has reached 200k in gold selling drops twice now, and I've barely made it to 40k. Is anyone else noticing a drastic drop in drops on their character? We thought it might have just been Celestia, but no. We farmed in Dragonspyre for a couple of days back to back, and the same thing. 0-1 drops for me and 3-7 drops for him.There is no way I'm going to be able to finish anything I've been trying to do since it all takes gold to do it.

This is going to be a short post due to the fact that it's a holiday and all. Kind of started the day off late...and we're only now getting the gravy ready, since the turkey only just now finished cooking...... So, I'll leave you with these screen shots, taken just ten minutes ago. The first battle we did when signing in to the game. Had me so frustrated, I closed the game and decided to blog about it.

Master Artisan at LAST!

It's only taken a literal year to get here. No, I'm not joking either. At least, I think it's been a year. Well, its at least been as long as crafting has been out, that I've been trying to make it to Master. I've been stuck at Initiate (guessing that's the one before master, I've had it for so long that I can't remember what it was) for the longest time. Probably 9 months. The others didn't take near as long (obviously if it's been only a year) to reach the next level. Unfortunately in the process, if you can remember as posted here earlier this year I have had a couple set backs a long the way.

In the long run, I've probably lost, misplaced, and or sold many crafted quest items or their reagents, meaning more grinding and crafting for me. As for Z, we were in MB I believe it was when crafting was first introduced in to the game, and unlike myself, he was selling all the reagents he came in contact with. I was smart, and saved them all. :P It wasn't until we were about half way through with Mooshu, or maybe just into Dragonspyre did he decide he wanted to craft. Why? Well, he saw all the awesome stuff you could make if you had that darn badge! As if it isn't hard enough collecting the reagents for the stuff you WANT to craft, you have to find the reagents for stuff you really could care less about, and wont be able to keep in the long run.

Fair? Meh.

Don't really care because I HAVE MY MASTERS CRAFTING BADGE!

Oh no though...Celestia is out, and that means...

Lol, jk. I didn't really die. I'm just soooo tired, but very very proud and excited of and for myself.

Adrian's First House!

I have loads to post on, however, I just wanted to take a break from all the Celestia talk that I will be doing in the future, and look at my second grandmaster, Adrian Winterhaven's very first house in game. Now, Adrian would have been my THIRD grandmaster, but when my Death character Mycin the first, was level 44, Z and I decided to delete them and start over.

We really didn't like the way we had spent our TP's the first time around. Since they were only our second characters, we hadn't really grasped the concept of Training Points yet.

After we restarted them, I began to work primarily on Kieran, my storm and first character, both initially, and to reach grandmaster, Adrian, and Aedan (Dragonbreath, my Lvl 40 Pyromancer). When Aedan was level 35, and Kieran along with Adrian were GM's Z and I decided to start leveling up our Myth characters, rather than continue power leveling/questing on Aedan and Calamity (Starcatcher, Zaolan's Lvl 40 Thaumaturge.

I think the reason behind that would be fairly obvious if you have read some past posts, stating that Adrian's questing partner is Suri Summergrove; Grandmaster Pyromancer. Now that the Myth Twins, Ryan and Reed Legend are Grandmasters, we've put them on hold, and returned to Adrian and Suri, in an effort to get them on their way to Celestia.

As you might have read, from Kash's (Zaolan) post, before this one by me, now, we have done so. I must say, I'm really glad that we stopped questing as soon as we hit Grandmaster. Never went even ONE step further. Already, both are a higher level than Kieran and Tristan, who are in Celestia! Lol. I know, I know, this just means that they will reach Legendary, far sooner, but meh. :) Hopefully by then, a new world will be out? Eh, a wizard can wish. ;)

On to the reason for this post, shall we?

Adrian's very first house. The small wizard city. I had well over 70k in the bank when I bought this. I didn't want it because I couldn't afford anything else. I wanted it, because I liked the way it looked. I thought it fit him nicely. What do you think?

Maybe at a later date, I will post pictures of his Ice School house. It's still in the process of being fully decorated.

Oh Em Gee!

So the long awaited wait, has just significantly gotten shorter. Now, I haven't tried yet, because the site said it would be down until 7am Central, which ends in 12 minutes. Could it get any longer?! Lol, jk. Zaolan and I have made the decision that we probably should wait until we venture in to Celestia for at least a -little- while.

We'll see exactly how little that wait is, eh? Mostly because of the massive amount of people trying desperately to get in to the great underwater world. I am definitely excited about the final release. Let's hope it has very few bugs. I wasn't expecting it to be so early, however, when KI changed Wild Bolt, etc, Zaolan and I talked it over, and realized most likely CL would be out the Wednesday -before- Halloween.

And what is today again? Wednesday, before Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, what does everyone have planned? Anything good? I so would go trick or treating.. and I'd probably pass as being young enough to, but at the same time, I don't want to. Mainly, because I don't have a costume. But oh how I wanted to go as Halston Balestrom!

What are you going as, that is, if you are going?

Currently in game, we are leveling up Mycin and Mason Ravenblood, as well as Aedan Dragonbreath, and Calamity Starcatcher. However, I have a feeling we're going to hop on Adrian/Suri or Ryan and Reed and finish some Dragonspyre now that the level cap has been upped! Woot.

Princess Madison and the Ravens

Been mainly sticking to questing on the Myth Twins, and they finally made it to the Ravens in Grizzleheim. Only took three days of nothing but more questing in GH. And guess just how many levels they upped the entire time?? They went from level 45 to dundundunnnnnnnn...45. Yep. All that questing, added up to nothing.

That is the ONLY thing I hate about GH. But, I can't complain too much, since KI specifically said that they made GH as a side world anyway, just something to do when you don't feel like doing what you have been doing. Which is the same redundant questing, if you're working on your third GM anyway. Lol.

However, I have finally managed (with Kash's help of course) to level up Ryan's faithful dragon, Princess Madison, the friendly dragon to ancient. First pet EVER for me to level up past adult. Most likely she will be my first ever Epic pet. She is awesome. I love her. I seriously doubt I will even use her Orthus (when she gets it) unless it produces as good stats as Madison.

Well, I'm off to play some more in Dragonspyre. Trying to get the twins to level 48, and then to GM before Celestia arrives!

More pets found; Grubb and Glitch

Been farming, and I got more pets. Woot. Here are the screen shots:









Also, Kash and I went and helped Nina through Sunken city, her on Autumn Legend (sibling to the Myth Twins) and we were on our death twins, Mycin and Mason Ravenblood when I noticed Grubb had a new look! I've been noticing this all over the spiral and I am very happy that KI has decided to change the look of the redundant mobs/bosses over all. Good job KI! It was also this run that I recieved for the first time the blue cat thug.

Tyson is HUGE in comparison to his master Adrian, lol. Just had to print screen this. Glitches are too funny. I wish I could see those though like I've read in other bloggers posts about floating pets, or even wizards! That would be awesome to witness.

New pets for me!

First off, I want to say why we haven't really been posting much lately. Despite we've taken screen shots....I personally, haven't really felt like doing much. And, here's a shocker: I've not hardly been feeling like playing wiz either *gasp* however, there is a reason for that. My grandmother, very recently, despite having been given a clean bill of health, had a severe stroke a week and a half ago. Leaving her paralyzed on her right side, unable to talk, eat, or drink.

As per her living will, she received no medical help aside from a bed to stay in at the hospital, until they moved her to a hospice, where she finally passed away just two days ago, Sept. 1st 2010. She had only just turned 72 years old, and she was the support system for my entire family. The go-to woman that everyone loved, admired, and respected. She was a mother, and a grandmother to me, and she was very dear to my heart. I miss her. And I wish her well in the afterlife.

Lucky for me, I have my best friend to help me through this. Kash. Couldn't have survived this with out him. Thank you Kash. For everything.

Now, on to my in-game achievements. If you haven't already deduced, Kash and I share a computer for playing Wizard, so its usually only one of us actually manning both clients while we run around the spiral. With the passing of my grandmother, as I stated, I've not even felt like playing wizard even, and so he has done most of the actual running around, and farming for us. Here is some of what he managed to get for me.

(I managed to get this dropped for me three times before he got his first, and we weren't even farming her for the pet! We've been trying to get doubles of our grand gear so that we can stitch them with some more personal clothing looks)

To close, I'd just like to say that I hope everyone reading this is in good spirits, and they are in good health. I wish you and yours all the health and happiness one can have. Never know when tomorrow might not be in your, or a loved ones future, so make the best of today while you still can. Live, love, learn. Most importantly, smile. Never forget to smile.

this post will not contain any pictures. We've been screening, however, we haven't taken much time for cropping etc lately, what with my being sick, and then the news that my grandmother had a severe stroke, and is in the hospital. I stayed awake for two days straight, which is why last night, I unfortunately could not make the back to school party in nightside. I was pretty bummed. I did set my alarm, and I even did come and sit at the computer, but having taken some benadryl, to not only help me sleep, but to fight my dern allergies, I was not able to keep my eyes open.

I am just NINE diamonds away from reaching Master Artisan...thats like...100+ more ore to find. FUN! To top it off, been farming Mali, does anyone know if you can still get the storm hound from him?! I really want it! I would SO retire my Stormzilla for it. Hatched with Kash a second time, and this time he got his Levithian (sp? don't feel like going to the central to look it up). He was uber psyched! That means I have another Stormzilla. I'll most likely put him on my GM Ice, since he uses storm as a second school.

Obviously, he can't wear the pet, but he can still use it as decoration!

Well, I'm off. Kash and I were going to run a bunch of instances in Mooshu, hunting more pets around the spiral. Then, we're farming Mali again, in a few.
