How rare is your rare?

I know that its been a while since X, Grace or myself have posted but I personally have been feeling like I've nothing to really post about. However, I'll try and update everyone what X and myself have been up to. With Wintertusk having came out, we rushed Tristan and Kieran there to work on it as much as we possibly could, but it took us a lot longer than most people due to our internet connection and the fact that my laptop isn't all that great and the crowdedness makes my computer struggle playing the game properly. But, we made it through to the last area of Wintertusk without doing it, and haven't looked back since. We haven't even thought about heading to Crab Alley since everyone states the Waterworks is very hard and we are but two people that travel around the spiral together. So we gained our new level 58 pets and worked hard to getting to where we are.

I would have blogged sooner but we (Xinaed, Grace and myself) were waiting for a few days for one reason and one reason only. If you look up at the address bar what do you see? The URL, correct? Right! We finally got ourselves a custom domain. Woo! We haven't tried getting on KI's blog roll yet but we'll eventually get around to it. We were waiting to blog since the redirect wasn't working so we didn't want people getting lost.

That alone is some big news for us. We'll hopefully be blogging more (ahem. Grace... :p Just teasing ya.) and maybe even playing wizard more. But, speaking of lost... While moving things around, changing our layout somewhat, and everything we lost our blog roll list. So, if any of you all that read our blog and we are on your blog roll list, or would like to add us to yours if we aren't already email us at xyz@ xstormyskiesz .com minus the spaces of course there, and give us the appropriate information and we'll get that all set up again ASAP.

I hath achieved eternal greatness;

At least on my main alt, Kieran Storm. Only things I really need to work on for him, are a few badges here and there. Mostly the ones in MB because as much as I love the world, and it may be my favorite, I absolutely hate running around there. I have achieved the title of Grandmaster Gardener. I did this a couple weeks ago, but I've been sick, and busy writing another blog that I was hoping would be finished by now, but its not..due to some confusing stuff (at least in my mind) that I need to sort out with it, before publishing.

Yes, I was using Silver Trumpet Vines, but it just so happens that's all I really was benefiting from harvest wise. In terms of what it gives. I plan on when I have more time and opportunity, making space for lots and lots of plants. But right now I'm also trying to level up some of my pets which means I can't be using my energy on gardening. Maybe when the new update comes out where we gain energy faster, but as of right now. Nope. Currently on Kieran I'm farming the REAL Cuthalla that drops Spiny Fish. No luck yet. So wish me luck please. I really want that pet!

Master Crafter Badge; Will I EVER get it?

I am going absolutely mad running around Mooshu in search of Black Lotus' to then transmute in to Black pearls! It takes 15 black lotus' to make 1 black pearl. That is nuts! This has been taking me months, and its going to take me months more before I actually finish all that is required to make it to Master Crafter. Should KI lighten up the amount of reagents needed to craft the pieces? IMHO, yes. It's not that easy for all of us to run around hours on end searching for these things.



And the bazaar rarely has a few if any to buy. And I just got pulled in for the 6th time since trying to run around the cave of solitude. I read on the central that this is a good place to find all these darn lotus' so I thought I would try it out. Although, come to think of it, it's been an hour since I tried this so called hot spot, and I've only found 3 lotus' and one pearl. Oh, we can't forget the six, oh crap, wait, seven battles I've found as well.

I think I'm heading back to my favorite lotus' spot. After all I managed to find about 50 in an hour just before heading over here. In case you guys have a hard time finding lotus' as per Fawne's guide found here, on the central, try this one that I've got mapped out. Click on the pics to make them larger if you want. But mainly you start out in the Jade palace, and then head to the right and towards Yoshohito Temple.



Once inside, you follow the trail to the pagoda thing in the center and then towards the left, to the Ancient Burial Grounds.



Once here you run up and all the way to the left, and in the culdisac there will be a teleport stone. Use it and then once there, use the fish teleport stone to get where you need to go for the lotus' I shall call Lotus Lane. Lol.



Now, it's a straight and narrow, with four different spawn points. They are marked by the x's and there is two on each end. Sometimes I've gotten lucky getting a lotus' flower at all four, but usually I get one to two active spawn points. Which, that alone is a lot when added up. Especially when they give two lotus' each or more, including a pearl here and there. Just keep changing realms and eventually you'll have a decent amount.

The Myth Twins make it to Mooshu

First, The Myth Twins, Ryan and Reed, recieved their final minion spell, annnd we leveled them up to 40. Their clothes, are hideous. So, of course, more farming to be done. But, they are both half way there to getting their Myth HOUSES! Woot. I can't wait.



Also, while farming on them, both Ryan and Reed managed to snag a piece of the rainbow. So to speak, they at least managed to snag the piece that makes the gold appear at the end. Their Myth Leprechauns! I have a lot of dreaded farming ahead, as I'm still trying to get my death leprechaun from Dean Vladmir Darkflame in the Labrynth.



Soo mad when Kash got that randomly in there one time while actually questing. I plan on giving the death leprechaun to Ryan when I get it, since her second school is death. We also need to farm for the plain ol' leprechaun, just for me to have, and for Reed to wear, since his second school is life. We thought that would be a cool thing for the two to wear.

For now..

this post will not contain any pictures. We've been screening, however, we haven't taken much time for cropping etc lately, what with my being sick, and then the news that my grandmother had a severe stroke, and is in the hospital. I stayed awake for two days straight, which is why last night, I unfortunately could not make the back to school party in nightside. I was pretty bummed. I did set my alarm, and I even did come and sit at the computer, but having taken some benadryl, to not only help me sleep, but to fight my dern allergies, I was not able to keep my eyes open.

I am just NINE diamonds away from reaching Master Artisan...thats like...100+ more ore to find. FUN! To top it off, been farming Mali, does anyone know if you can still get the storm hound from him?! I really want it! I would SO retire my Stormzilla for it. Hatched with Kash a second time, and this time he got his Levithian (sp? don't feel like going to the central to look it up). He was uber psyched! That means I have another Stormzilla. I'll most likely put him on my GM Ice, since he uses storm as a second school.

Obviously, he can't wear the pet, but he can still use it as decoration!

Well, I'm off. Kash and I were going to run a bunch of instances in Mooshu, hunting more pets around the spiral. Then, we're farming Mali again, in a few.

Farming, Farming, and MORE Farming.

Did a lot of farming lately, since Kash and I share a laptop atm, and he was busy still trying to get his firebat from the Gurtok Barrier Demon in GH. I was lucky enough to get both the Sunbird and the Icebird fairly quickly. I was however, unlucky at obtaining the elusive Life Banshee from Krokotopia.

Not much else to talk about really since I've just been mostly farming. I'll have another blog post up soon about my very first hatch with my Stormzilla!

Crabling, finally!

SO, after many many hours, I was finally able to get a crabling! Woot. Only took a few days in total hours of farming. First Kash and I were farming the Gurtok Barrier Demon in Ravenscar for the firebats, but I aquired that pet early on, so I started to farm for the crabling again. After about 8 hours of doing so, whether it was I, or Kash manning the mouse and keyboard, finally the crazed forest spirit dropped me a crabling pet.





Tried to catch a print screen as soon as it dropped, but had an emergency just as the battle finished, lol. My cat kinda fell...and I jumped to go see if he was alright. Didn't even know that the crabling dropped until after I got back to the comp screen. However, I managed to capture the above screen shot as soon as it hatched. Woot. So..now what to farm. Hmm.
