How rare is your rare?

I know that its been a while since X, Grace or myself have posted but I personally have been feeling like I've nothing to really post about. However, I'll try and update everyone what X and myself have been up to. With Wintertusk having came out, we rushed Tristan and Kieran there to work on it as much as we possibly could, but it took us a lot longer than most people due to our internet connection and the fact that my laptop isn't all that great and the crowdedness makes my computer struggle playing the game properly. But, we made it through to the last area of Wintertusk without doing it, and haven't looked back since. We haven't even thought about heading to Crab Alley since everyone states the Waterworks is very hard and we are but two people that travel around the spiral together. So we gained our new level 58 pets and worked hard to getting to where we are.

I hath achieved eternal greatness;

At least on my main alt, Kieran Storm. Only things I really need to work on for him, are a few badges here and there. Mostly the ones in MB because as much as I love the world, and it may be my favorite, I absolutely hate running around there. I have achieved the title of Grandmaster Gardener. I did this a couple weeks ago, but I've been sick, and busy writing another blog that I was hoping would be finished by now, but its not..due to some confusing stuff (at least in my mind) that I need to sort out with it, before publishing.

Yes, I was using Silver Trumpet Vines, but it just so happens that's all I really was benefiting from harvest wise. In terms of what it gives. I plan on when I have more time and opportunity, making space for lots and lots of plants. But right now I'm also trying to level up some of my pets which means I can't be using my energy on gardening. Maybe when the new update comes out where we gain energy faster, but as of right now. Nope. Currently on Kieran I'm farming the REAL Cuthalla that drops Spiny Fish. No luck yet. So wish me luck please. I really want that pet!

Danger Hound and Gardening in Wizard? Good-Bye Farmville!

So, after waiting forever, and debating if we really should contact KI about our missing danger hound codes, we finally went ahead and contacted them, asking if we could please get our codes resent or something to us. Took almost the entire day yesterday of writing back and forth, but in the end WE GOT OUR DANGER HOUNDS. Mine was named Hunter, right off the bat so I left it there. That sounds like a good name for a Danger hound, right? I think so anyway. Still trying to get a fierce hound, by hatching with Z's fierce hound. No luck. Still haven't heard word of whether or not its even possible to get one through hatching. 

I'm guessing no news is good news? Lets hope. Leveled my Starfish to adult, but no spritely yet. Really wanting a spinyfish but I refuse to buy it with crowns. I want it to hatch with my zilla time and again to get some decent stats finally. One thing that was disheartening was with KI support, and how it seemed with every message they sent to us, it just 'felt' like it was a totally different person on the other end, who didn't bother to read the messages before. By them, or by us. Very indifferent and impersonal. One said they could help with our level 48 pets, and the other said the complete opposite. Before we got our DH's they were wanting our Central emails to make sure they had the codes available for us, and the next email, about 20 minutes later from them was "The danger hound contest is over, so we can not help you." and left it at that.

Like I said, it felt like random people were just picking up the email and answering it how they felt like at the time, regardless the situation was already being resolved by someone else. In the end though, as stated before, we did manage to finally acquire our Danger Hounds. Woot. Contest news: the winners have been selected, and they will be receiving an email from us some time today, where we can then discuss meeting times and conclude how the hatching/merc days will work out. Thank you to all who entered, we enjoyed reading your stories, etc.

Now, on to Farming. Farm games is probably a really big thing for me and Z. We each love farm games, but separately. Personally, we hate Farmville by Zynga, but there are other farm games that we love. Like Country Story. Its safe to say he and I are both stoked with the new updates secretly found on the TR. At first we were apprehensive to get on, since it does say OFFLINE. However, with as many people on the TR, and submitting Bug Reports, etc. I believe KI is aware that they are there, and get this, they don't mind! Or, at least if they did, they know how and are capable of kicking everyone off and closing the TR for reals.

We first entered on to the test using my screen name. Funnily, we see that Kieran is only level 59. That shows how long this has been implemented in to the test realm. He's been at 60 for over a week now. Of course when we saw we could plant stuff, my MB manor came to mind as the perfect place to do so. I mean, after all, it has a green house on site! :D So, we head over to Farley and do his little quests, yada yada, you can read all about that stuff on the blogs found on our blog roll. :P No need to contribute completely to redundancy. ;)  Then we head over to Kieran's MB Mansion and start planting. 

Think he wants to hear music? I do.

These rank one plants don't require much at all, but I've read (from same said blogs on the right) that the higher rank ones require much more tending too. Which, okay. That's usually how it works with these games. Easy firsts, harder seconds. One thing I did ask of KI was that if they are going to use Pet Energy, maybe they could up the max pet energy by 20 or so. I barely have enough PE it seems to level up my pets, but now it needs to be shared for farming? Eek. We went ahead and bought the beast master clothing set on test to up our pet energy by some, but it isn't something we would want in live.

 Definitely think I personally am going to like this expansion to the game.  Wont miss playing Country Story as much, since I'll kind of have it in Wizard. Now if some how we could run our own restaurant (or at least implement cooking in some way) in the game, I'd be set! Love me some restaurant games, like Country Story's sister game Restaurant City. Playfish really know how to keep me entertained, and its safe to say Wizard has them beat! Go Kingisle! Haha. Now lets take a look at Kash's garden, via his Krokotopian House.

Ahaha, okay. I'm done playing around. Seriously though, LOVE this new idea. Rock on, err Plant on KI! This expansion gives a whole new meaning to FARMING. Ha!

The Myth Twins make it to Mooshu

First, The Myth Twins, Ryan and Reed, recieved their final minion spell, annnd we leveled them up to 40. Their clothes, are hideous. So, of course, more farming to be done. But, they are both half way there to getting their Myth HOUSES! Woot. I can't wait.



Also, while farming on them, both Ryan and Reed managed to snag a piece of the rainbow. So to speak, they at least managed to snag the piece that makes the gold appear at the end. Their Myth Leprechauns! I have a lot of dreaded farming ahead, as I'm still trying to get my death leprechaun from Dean Vladmir Darkflame in the Labrynth.



Soo mad when Kash got that randomly in there one time while actually questing. I plan on giving the death leprechaun to Ryan when I get it, since her second school is death. We also need to farm for the plain ol' leprechaun, just for me to have, and for Reed to wear, since his second school is life. We thought that would be a cool thing for the two to wear.

New pets for me!

First off, I want to say why we haven't really been posting much lately. Despite we've taken screen shots....I personally, haven't really felt like doing much. And, here's a shocker: I've not hardly been feeling like playing wiz either *gasp* however, there is a reason for that. My grandmother, very recently, despite having been given a clean bill of health, had a severe stroke a week and a half ago. Leaving her paralyzed on her right side, unable to talk, eat, or drink.

As per her living will, she received no medical help aside from a bed to stay in at the hospital, until they moved her to a hospice, where she finally passed away just two days ago, Sept. 1st 2010. She had only just turned 72 years old, and she was the support system for my entire family. The go-to woman that everyone loved, admired, and respected. She was a mother, and a grandmother to me, and she was very dear to my heart. I miss her. And I wish her well in the afterlife.

Lucky for me, I have my best friend to help me through this. Kash. Couldn't have survived this with out him. Thank you Kash. For everything.

Now, on to my in-game achievements. If you haven't already deduced, Kash and I share a computer for playing Wizard, so its usually only one of us actually manning both clients while we run around the spiral. With the passing of my grandmother, as I stated, I've not even felt like playing wizard even, and so he has done most of the actual running around, and farming for us. Here is some of what he managed to get for me.

To close, I'd just like to say that I hope everyone reading this is in good spirits, and they are in good health. I wish you and yours all the health and happiness one can have. Never know when tomorrow might not be in your, or a loved ones future, so make the best of today while you still can. Live, love, learn. Most importantly, smile. Never forget to smile.

The Legend Twins are OUT of Marleybone...

Finally. I'll let Kash post on his behalf if he feels, but this is a huge feat. As I said before in a past blog post, I HATE Marleybone only for the fact that it lags so much more than any other place in the game. I made an updated signature for Ryan, now I just need to work on getting it for everyone, lol.

I also have a screenie of them fighting Bellows. I had meant to ask Kash to screen Sprocket, but alas, I forgot. Been having some major tooth ache pain and been kinda taking meds to try and help alleviate it. By the time we were in Big Ben and at Meowiarty, my tooth was hurting so bad that I couldn't hardly conentrate on the battle, let alone to get a good screen shot. Maybe we'll remember to get it when we go back in for a farming run.

Lost Sigils and Slower Game Play

So I'm running around in Marleybone, on mine and Kash's Myth characters, and I can't help but notice that there is in many places, missing sigil animation. To show you what I mean by sigil animation, I took a snap shot.

This is how a sigil looks when you've had a quest to go inside. It has that blue aura, and once you're finished in side, the blue remains. Signifying that you can actually get in side the place. However, I've been seeing more and more, sigils missing the blue aura, despite I've had quests to go inside, and even have gone in side.



Now, I know they were there before the update last week, that had the game down for 8+ hours, but since then..nothing. Wonder what's up. Are they changing the way sigils look, or is this an error? Hmm. Well, I guess only time will tell.

Also, I thought KI was supposed to be making the game faster, and better for everyone playing? I'm really rushing through Marleybone right now on these Conjurers because this seems by far the hardest place to play due to game lag. Now, Kash and I share a computer, which makes things already slow for playing, but, it was manageable to an extent before all these updates.

Now, I get if I'm lucky, a few quests in every 4 hours or more. It's that bad. I'm constantly being lagged any time any other players come near me, to the point it makes my screen go black and stay black for a minute or longer. By the time it does come back, more often than not, I'm stuck in a battle.

We have two other characters that need to get through Marleybone and we are really dreading the time it's going to take. Wish us luck.
