Lots has happened in the Spiral for me, though in reality it just feels as if nothing has happened. Maybe that's because a lot of what I had wanted to achieve hasn't quite come to fruit yet. Mostly, pet leveling. I think I've managed to level up 3 pets from teen to adult, and about 6 pets from baby to teen. I have said this before, and I'm saying it again. I really wish KI would do something about the pet games.
They are too boring (more so redundant) for the minimal rewards you get from them. I understand that's why they put the mega snacks in, but let's face it, I will never be buying any of them. $5 is just too much to pay for them. And I do have gardens full of supposed plants that drop said snacks. So far out of 50 harvests, I've gotten 3. Yes folks, just three.

After a long reagent hunting with X, looking for pearls in CL, Tristan finally made Grandmaster Artisan. It took me a bit longer to actually get all the pearls I needed since X kept getting golden pearls. >.< But, I took some screenies of me making my seal of the seven seas, as well as my tea set for the training point. So, yes, Tristan had finally hit the crafting tables once again. Now that I'm actually Grandmaster in it, I don't know what is next for him, but, I do know there is tons of items that I wanted to craft just for his houses alone. To be honest, I never thought that we would make it this far since the CL GM quest despite it was only one, seemed like such a lot of work to do. Reagent hunt, transmute, hunt, transmute, hunt and transmute. o.O I don't remember having this much trouble even with DS but, I guess thats the point of the crafting system. Making it more difficult. Although, I'm probably the only one that actually enjoys crafting despite the hardness of it.
Never thought I'd make it this far, but alas I have, woot. And so close to GM Gardener too, yay. All on my main alt, of course, Kieran Storm. However, Adrian and Ryan are both closely tied doing the DS crafting quests, and Adrian rank 8 gardener. Ryan is my lowest gardener, rank 2, but that's because I only a couple days ago actually started gardening on her, lol. Took a lot of time reagent hunting to make it this far, and if only Pink Dandelions were out when I needed them! Ha. S'all good though. Oh no, I need to get the recipe for my Legendary stuffs doh, just remembered.
Merry Christmas to all of you wizards out there that celebrate it, as well as Happy early Kwanzaa to those of you that celebrate that as well, if any of you do.
With that said, Xinaed and I have been pretty much MIA for a while due to circumstances thrown our way, but, we've been on and off again on the spiral for a few days, and guess what? We finally finished Celestia. Yeah, we have sort of already finished it before our hiatus, minus the Trial of Spheres but, we finally finished that now as well. We were pretty excited to get that out of the way. Now onto gardening? Leveling up other characters, and finishing our crafting quests. That and most likely farming ToS a few times to see what we can get. It's simple enough after we understood what we needed to do for each floor.
Here are a few pictures that Xinaed took while we were doing ToS I believe it was yesterday for the second time. Hope all of you are having a great and happy holiday. We're trying to enjoy everything that we have at the moment ourselves. Both of us are having a white christmas for the first time. :)
It's only taken a literal year to get here. No, I'm not joking either. At least, I think it's been a year. Well, its at least been as long as crafting has been out, that I've been trying to make it to Master. I've been stuck at Initiate (guessing that's the one before master, I've had it for so long that I can't remember what it was) for the longest time. Probably 9 months. The others didn't take near as long (obviously if it's been only a year) to reach the next level. Unfortunately in the process, if you can remember as posted here earlier this year I have had a couple set backs a long the way.
In the long run, I've probably lost, misplaced, and or sold many crafted quest items or their reagents, meaning more grinding and crafting for me. As for Z, we were in MB I believe it was when crafting was first introduced in to the game, and unlike myself, he was selling all the reagents he came in contact with. I was smart, and saved them all. :P It wasn't until we were about half way through with Mooshu, or maybe just into Dragonspyre did he decide he wanted to craft. Why? Well, he saw all the awesome stuff you could make if you had that darn badge! As if it isn't hard enough collecting the reagents for the stuff you WANT to craft, you have to find the reagents for stuff you really could care less about, and wont be able to keep in the long run.
Fair? Meh.
Don't really care because I HAVE MY MASTERS CRAFTING BADGE!

After all this time and money...my first crafted cloak has disappeared from my bank. Yet, I still have stuff in there that overflew from my back pack from farming Nightshade last week?? It was there last night, I made sure. I craft my second piece tonight, go to take the first out, and it no longer exists?! Anywhere on my account.
I am going absolutely mad running around Mooshu in search of Black Lotus' to then transmute in to Black pearls! It takes 15 black lotus' to make 1 black pearl. That is nuts! This has been taking me months, and its going to take me months more before I actually finish all that is required to make it to Master Crafter. Should KI lighten up the amount of reagents needed to craft the pieces? IMHO, yes. It's not that easy for all of us to run around hours on end searching for these things.
And the bazaar rarely has a few if any to buy. And I just got pulled in for the 6th time since trying to run around the cave of solitude. I read on the central that this is a good place to find all these darn lotus' so I thought I would try it out. Although, come to think of it, it's been an hour since I tried this so called hot spot, and I've only found 3 lotus' and one pearl. Oh, we can't forget the six, oh crap, wait, seven battles I've found as well.
I think I'm heading back to my favorite lotus' spot. After all I managed to find about 50 in an hour just before heading over here. In case you guys have a hard time finding lotus' as per Fawne's guide found here, on the central, try this one that I've got mapped out. Click on the pics to make them larger if you want. But mainly you start out in the Jade palace, and then head to the right and towards Yoshohito Temple.
Once inside, you follow the trail to the pagoda thing in the center and then towards the left, to the Ancient Burial Grounds.
Once here you run up and all the way to the left, and in the culdisac there will be a teleport stone. Use it and then once there, use the fish teleport stone to get where you need to go for the lotus' I shall call Lotus Lane. Lol.
Now, it's a straight and narrow, with four different spawn points. They are marked by the x's and there is two on each end. Sometimes I've gotten lucky getting a lotus' flower at all four, but usually I get one to two active spawn points. Which, that alone is a lot when added up. Especially when they give two lotus' each or more, including a pearl here and there. Just keep changing realms and eventually you'll have a decent amount.
this post will not contain any pictures. We've been screening, however, we haven't taken much time for cropping etc lately, what with my being sick, and then the news that my grandmother had a severe stroke, and is in the hospital. I stayed awake for two days straight, which is why last night, I unfortunately could not make the back to school party in nightside. I was pretty bummed. I did set my alarm, and I even did come and sit at the computer, but having taken some benadryl, to not only help me sleep, but to fight my dern allergies, I was not able to keep my eyes open.
I am just NINE diamonds away from reaching Master Artisan...thats like...100+ more ore to find. FUN! To top it off, been farming Mali, does anyone know if you can still get the storm hound from him?! I really want it! I would SO retire my Stormzilla for it. Hatched with Kash a second time, and this time he got his Levithian (sp? don't feel like going to the central to look it up). He was uber psyched! That means I have another Stormzilla. I'll most likely put him on my GM Ice, since he uses storm as a second school.
Obviously, he can't wear the pet, but he can still use it as decoration!
Well, I'm off. Kash and I were going to run a bunch of instances in Mooshu, hunting more pets around the spiral. Then, we're farming Mali again, in a few.
