I have been putting this blog entry off for as long as it could because for whatever reason - lately, all my screenies that I've been taking of Suri reaching Master Artisan, reaching level 60, getting Efreet, gaining a few dropped items from farming, etc, are.not.taking despite they say they took. I was going to take a video of me using Efreet but then my Xfire wouldn't work for whatever reason either. I do think that my issues are over though. So, here is an update from moi, Zaolan.

.Suri reached Master Artisan finally.
.Suri reached level 58, and achieved her spell Efreet.
.Reed reached Master Artisan.
.Calamity got her robe that I want for her new look for stitching lvl 60.
.Still farming for Suri's robe for the same thing.
.Finally got a death ninja pig, professor wu, and a green swords display as drops.
.Got st. patricks day wands dropped at Jade Oni.
.Hatched with Grace and got myself a Reaver (Satyr + Hydra)
.Alura made it to the krokosphinx as well as Grizzleheim finally.
.Calamity made it to Dragonspyre.
.Ravenbloods made it to Mooshu - not sure if this was ever talked about.

First ever CONTEST!
As promised, Xinaed and I will be hosting our very first contest here on Stormy Skies. Now, again as promised, we will be doing it a little differently than what we've seen most doing. Granted, we wish we had all this money to buy crowns, and then use those crowns to buy the awards with, but we don't. We've racked our brains, and finally come to an agreement on what we feel the awards should/will be.
But first, we should tell you that we aren't going to be doing one of those contests where you just 'sign up' and that's the end of it. No. Since we are going to have to work, literally for the awards given, we would like you to work, for the right to be awarded. Nothing too difficult, and anybody who is anybody could easily do what we are asking of you.
You can choose of three things to submit for your entry in to the contest. You will have one week to submit your work to us at khai.dreamweavers.kash @ gmail.com. Remember to take the spaces out of the address, lol. Now to enter, you must be following us via twitter, or this blog, or both. Comment this blog post giving your Wizard name, where you are following us, as well as the type of entry you are going to be submitting. This way we can make sure to look for your email, and hold on to it. Don't want it getting lost in the spam folder. :)
Option One: Submit at least three paragraphs describing how Wizard101 has affected your life, excluding personal details such as your real name, age, location, etc.
Option Two: Make a graphic picture, either hand drawn, drawn in paint, collage, photo manipulation, etc of your favorite wizard101 pet(s), and your character(s). Then upload it to a picture hosting site such as picasa or photobucket, and email us the link so we can view it
Option Three: Write an in-character short story in your wizards point of view, of a time in their "life". Such as how they came about aquiring their pet/favorite pet, how they met their best friend, etc etc. Be creative. Three paragraph minimum.
Remember a paragraph is 5-7 sentences. Also, make sure to put your wizards name in your email to us so we can match them up with the comments.
Now, for our awards:

Celestia for example, is something we can only manage to venture in to on weekday nights, as well as weekend nights. Late nights. We do apologize.
*Treasure cards - To make this fair, we will be throwing in a random amount of both low rank, and high rank treasure cards.

Drops, Pets, Celestia, Hybrids and Spookiness,
This will be a blog full of screenies today. Lots of things to talk about. Starting off, I found an old photo I took while the Legend twins were questing and farming before they had hit grandmaster which was roughly a week ago. Which I'm extremely proud about since it was a very hard thing to do. Being a conjurer isn't the easiest class to pick. We came across another portrait of a professor. We've talked about this before, but, this is professor drake drop I received we believe from greystone in dragonspyre. I, personally still need a whole lot more professor portraits but, I'm sure eventually I'll come across them one by one. I'm still needing my stupid marleybone automobile, if it's even possible to get anymore as a drop.
Onto Celestia on the test realm. I'm beginning to really like Celestia from what I've actually played of it - which isn't much due to how many people are actually on there, and how bad it lags for us on this computer. While we were questing, reporting bugs and commenting to KI about such things, look at how well Tristan has learned to levitate above his turtle mount. Isn't that awesome? Kidding. But, seriously, what's up with the levitating high above the pets there? I remember seeing this during the Selena quest as well a few times. I have also came to love how the lobster mount acts the best, from the mounts that we've tested. Now, don't get me wrong, the turtle mount is cool, but, I think once Celestia is live, I will be getting a lobster if you can get it with gold.
Moving on. Pets and hybrids. Looky at what I got while farming at Nightshade? Kai and myself have been farming like mad to try and get this little fella for he and I. I seem to be the only one between us that has had the pleasure of obtaining him during the four days straight of farming just Nightshade. Seven days if you count the farming and the questing during that time. I'm sorry that he hasn't been able to get the cute little thing, but, I will personally continue to farm for him to get it, if he doesn't, since, he's not feeling all that well.
Here's my new hybrid hatches that I've gotten. Reed's Orthrus from finishing his Level 48 Conjurer quest, and Tristan's Hydra. It's a Cerberus, or however you spell it. It's pretty awesome if I do say so myself, but, I think I prefer Kai's Hybrid that he got with his Orthrus and Stormzilla. My hydra apparently doesn't like to breed, since I've hatch three times and only one time have I gotten an actual hybrid, but I don't mind the extra Orthrus'. Suri hatched with Adrian's Colossus and received an Ice Oni. I think I'll be giving it to my ice character Calamity, but I'm not completely sure yet since I think I might want to keep Oni's on Suri for one of her houses.
More on the farming sector from Halloween questing. We've done the Halloween quest on two character's each, and we plan on doing it on all six of our character's on our first account, no clue if we will do it on the second account or not this Halloween, since not really sure if I personally see a point to just yet. But, here are a few of the drops that I've gotten while farming at Nightshade. I'm missing a couple ninja pig costume pieces as screenies, as well as in my bag, no clue where they went. I might have accidentally sold them not meaning too. But, I'm not too keen on the ninja pig look anyhow. I had the shoes and the hat. Oh well.

Kai's already thinking about which two character's to start leveling up to grandmaster. We have three grandmaster's. With Celestia coming soon, I'm not really sure where I want to go next. I like crafting a lot so I'll probably continue in that route. We're still working on to getting to master artisan on Kieran and Tristan. He's thinking Aedan and Calamity to level up next I think but, I'm more leaning onto the Ravenbloods. I want to see where they go.
Now, I'll shut up but before I do I'm gonna ask this - Is there anything any of our readers want to know about wizard, or curious about? Ask away.

Hybrids Galore and a bit of a surprise!
So many successful attempts at hatching for hybrids! Very exciting. I still need to hatch Adrian's Ice Colossus with Suri's Helephant to get the Helephant version of the mix, but this is what I got on the first try. Cool, huh? He's awesome. Suri did however get the Ice Helephant thing, I can't remember the name. My bad, haha.
Two attempts with Ryan's Orthus and Kieran's Stormzilla, both a sucess! Mythzilla and Tempest Hound! So awesome! Very exciting. I'm waiting to hatch with Adrian's Colossus' and Ryan's Orthus' currently. I have enough gold, but I'm holding on to it in case Celestia goes live soon and the new mounts are available in gold, as well as crowns.

Kash and I need to work on Aedan and Calamity's characters, as well as The Ravenbloods, and then of course the lowly Fallon and Alura, however, we're too busy farming for the Black cat. [[Spoiler alert]] Kash on Reed, got this pet dropped a couple of days ago! Shhh, act surprised when and if he finally decides to post on it. ;)

Frostzilla!
Yay, I finally got my Frostzilla. After about 7 tries, I got it. Woot. Go me. In the process I managed to get the Stormwarden, three Stormzillas, and two new Ice Colossus' lol.
I still need to level up Ryan's Orthus, and then I can start hatching using Orthus and Stormzilla to see if I can get the hybrids. I'm excited. Kash and I are also going to start hatching using our hybrids, to get each others hybrids. Since, I want the Levithian/Creeper/Helion recieved from Hydra. Especially since it is going to be a long while before Fallon has her Hydra, lol.

Fatesealer
So, I managed to get a Fatesealer last week. Never got around to taking a picture however, but I did today, after playing on the test realm for some time. As you all should know by now, Celestia is on the TEST REALM!! Lol. Woot. Problem is, it's really hard for Kash and I to get around the test, what with all the millions of people trying to get on, or already on, and only four realms.

But, so far so good. It is definitely not what I was expecting, nor are the new schools of magic. I am undecided on how I feel about them even. Only time will tell, and it still wont be until later on that I am able to tell how I feel about it. I really really want a pumpkin head, and I really really really want a black cat! I shall name it Sheer, and I'm sure Kash shall name his Shade. ;)
Despite, we can't name them that for real in game. Pitty. I know.

Hydras
After a few hatching tries with Kai's Ice character's Colossus, and my fire character's Helephant, I finally have two more hydra hybrids that I had been wanting for my balance house. I'm excited, although I'm not really sure about why KI named the ice hydra hybrid creeper, while the others are leviathan and helion. That name just does not fit in my opinion.
Now that I have the elemental hydra's, now I need to try and get the seraph, wraith, and the myth one for my balance house. Alittle disappointed that they won't look like hydra's but, oh well. I also want hybrids that look like golem's I think they are called. The colossus looking pets. At least for Tristan's house.
As Kieran and Tristan, we have been farming for our level fifty gear sets for all of our character's. We were at Kraysys for days, and now that we are finished with that, we have moved on to Spiderkeeper, and we will probably be there for a while, because, we've already done it a couple of days and we've gotten nothing. Level 48; and a new Hybrid for me :)
So, we have managed to get the Legends to level 48. Have not gone in to the labyrnth however to finish the quests. Instead, Kash and I have been on Kieran and Tristan, farming Kraysys back to back. For what you might ask? (Since they both have all their level 50 gear already..) Well, for more level 50 gear. We are trying to have three of each set, so that we may make stitches of our level 50 gear.
In total, we have earned well over 200k in gold farming him, and we still are needing one more set of myth shoes on Kash, and I think (but not positive, because I think I got it the last time we battled) balances hat from him. He's actually incredibly easy. We each only have about 4 spells in our deck, and he's k/o'd by turn 6 at the least. One hit kills both minion and boss. Gotta love being a Diviner, eh?
In this picture below, the Legends are fighting the Sea Lord, however, this was not the reason for the pic. It was the Fatezilla and Stormzilla in the battle below that caught my attention. Look at the size of those pets. Bajeebas! Lol. Now that, is scary.
On to other news, hatching has been a success. I managed to hatch a Stormwarden yesterday. Already working towards leveling this beast up. Love him. I think I am going to be playing with him by my side more than I do Zeus. Though, I will miss him terribly, I look forward to having Jackson at my side. That is, if he manifests Pips O Plenty, which is something my Stormzilla has yet to manifest.
Don't know if he ever will. So far, all of his babies haven't manifested it, and all are adults minus Jackson now. Was kind of surprised by what Miss Shadow, Zeus' stormzilla daughter manifested. She managed to manifest Snow Ward. She 'may' cast this in battle. I have absolutely NO idea what this is. I find it odd, being as she is a Stormzilla, that she learned this. HOWEVER, it could make sense, seeing as though her other parent is Tyson, Adrian's Ice Colossus.
Who is also the other parent to Jackson. The first try was a no-go for a hybrid, second time, a success. Though, I was wanting an icezilla, I am happy with my stormwarden. :D At the moment, I am getting ready to hatch with Kash's Hydra, on Kieran, using Tyson, Adrian's ice colossus. Unfortuntely for him, he is getting yet another Hydra. :/ I don't know what mine is yet, I'm checking as I type this, lol. I think I got another Ice Colossus pet out of the deal too. Which, is still pretty cool imo. It says Ice School only, so I can only assume that is what it is. Which, is odd, since I thought that you could only hatch a pet that you could equip.
Oh well, maybe next time. I'm not really sure what Hydra and Ice Colossus make, other than the ice hydra (name escapes me atm) but I'm wanting both. Kash is trying for the ice hydra, since he has both storm and fire already.
Well, this medicine I'm taking makes me real tired, so I'm going to head back to bed.

Though, I was wanting an icezilla, I am happy with my stormwarden. :D At the moment, I am getting ready to hatch with Kash's Hydra, on Kieran, using Tyson, Adrian's ice colossus. Since, he is the one with the money. After this attempt however, I'm most likely going to put both Tyson and Miss Shadow back on Adrian.
Unfortuntely for him, he is getting yet another Hydra. :/ I don't know what mine is yet, I'm checking as I type this, lol. I think I got another Ice Colossus pet out of the deal too. Which, is still pretty cool imo. It says Ice School only, so I can only assume that is what it is. Which, is odd, since I thought that you could only hatch a pet that you could equip.
Oh well, maybe next time. I'm not really sure what Hydra and Ice Colossus make, other than the ice hydra (name escapes me atm) but I'm wanting both. Kash is trying for the ice hydra, since he has both storm and fire already.
Well, this medicine I'm taking makes me real tired, so I'm going to head back to bed.

Princess Madison and the Ravens
Been mainly sticking to questing on the Myth Twins, and they finally made it to the Ravens in Grizzleheim. Only took three days of nothing but more questing in GH. And guess just how many levels they upped the entire time?? They went from level 45 to dundundunnnnnnnn...45. Yep. All that questing, added up to nothing.
That is the ONLY thing I hate about GH. But, I can't complain too much, since KI specifically said that they made GH as a side world anyway, just something to do when you don't feel like doing what you have been doing. Which is the same redundant questing, if you're working on your third GM anyway. Lol.
However, I have finally managed (with Kash's help of course) to level up Ryan's faithful dragon, Princess Madison, the friendly dragon to ancient. First pet EVER for me to level up past adult. Most likely she will be my first ever Epic pet. She is awesome. I love her. I seriously doubt I will even use her Orthus (when she gets it) unless it produces as good stats as Madison.

Leviathan!!!
I finally got it! Only took one more try after the first, and I was able to get him! I named him Cosmo, and I'm psyched. Bad me though for not taking the time to level him up. Bad Kash, bad. I know.
Kai and I were talking of hatching with him and his fatezilla Rex. Guaranteeing us both with a hybrid! What do you think?

Meet, Rex.
So, Kash and I were able to finally hatch for the first time. We tried his Hydra with my Stormzilla.
And this, was the result:
Unfortunately, Kash only got another Hydra out of the deal. There is always next time! Now, we just need to keep on farming to get more money to do that. The wayfarers scheme seems too hard for the two of us to do. We can't even get through Briskbreeze alone.
Saving creatures around the spiral.
After hours and hours of trying his best, Tristan finally rescued the poor little fire bat that was stashed away in the Gurtok Barrier Demon's cave. Tristan wasn't sure if he would ever be able to save him, but, after a back pack and a few wheel barrels full of toy trains, the demon released the creature. Tristan already knows where the best place the firebat will have a great life - with his good friend Suri Summergrove.
After donating all those toy trains to the little bears of Grizzleheim and a few other places around the spiral, Tristan heard the cries of another poor little bird in the Glacial Wastes. Tristan followed the cries of said bird, and found out it was an ice bird being held captive from a evil Grizzleheimian named Nightwing. It took a few tries but Tristan being the powerful wizard that he is, he "convinced" him to release the bird and Tristan has taken him back to his home until Calamity Starcatcher can pick her up from him.
Tristan had a letter awaiting for him from Suri Summergrove telling him about how she saw Ember Everburn had a sunbird in a cage and she tried to save it but couldn't. Strutting off to Mooshu, Tristan stormed into the dojo and demanded the bird to be released. Ember Everburn had no choice but to listen to this Grandmaster of Sorcery and the sunbird is now resting happily at Tristan's lovely balance house in Krokotopia.

I'm quite upset that I ended up with another Hydra, but happy to see that Kieran got a Fatezilla out of the deal.
