It's taken me a while to getting around to making this blog post, but here it is none the less, whether it'll be long or not.
The Legend Twins finally made it through to Malistaire and kicked butt - well, sort of. I personally thought that they would do a lot better than they did, but, a lot of things have changed for the Mali run anyhow. And, it really irritated me about the Orthrus spell, being one moment it hit hard, the next moment it wouldn't. I don't know if it was just a spazz moment or what.
We zoomed through the easy mobs after flying over the great volcano, and up to the elevator. Reed, of course, had to stop and take a quick glance around and also show off a little standing at the very edge before the elevator trip up to the gurtoks. Oddly enough we didn't have that many issues with tower shields, thankfully.
After there though with Tumok and getting through those dreadful "unlock the door" mobs, we found out that there were more of them and no time limit. o.O One of those changes apparently. I personally don't like this change since I had a difficult time with them, Ryan had to jump in and "save the day." No, Reed can handle his own, or he likes to think this..
After getting past those guys, and getting to Malistaire, we stood there.. and stood there.. and stood there. >.< I really wish they would fix it where you do not have to listen to the dialog for this place. All of other quests you can zoom through it if you listened to it before, but not this one. So, five minutes later lol, we fought him, and I managed to get a screenie of the dragon titan's eye while in battle. It took us a while to actually defeat him, probably thirty minutes or so. Maybe a little longer but its because of the Orthrus.... *shakes head*
With all of this said, see Malistaires staff? Any way to get a replica of it so a wizard can use it? I know that there are some NPCs clothing and weapons you can find replicas of them and actually use them for your own. But, can you with his stuff? Or, is Malistaire just "cool" like that.. If anyone knows, let us know since I would be interested in using one, myself. :)

Happy Wizarding all.

How about frogging the minions to death and blading then a pair of Orthrus? Shouldn't take too long :)
It wasn't that, it was stupid fizzles on his end. I managed to beat mine quick but then ran in to help him out.
