Wizard101, Runescape and More

Lots has happened in the Spiral for me, though in reality it just feels as if nothing has happened. Maybe that's because a lot of what I had wanted to achieve hasn't quite come to fruit yet. Mostly, pet leveling. I think I've managed to level up 3 pets from teen to adult, and about 6 pets from baby to teen. I have said this before, and I'm saying it again. I really wish KI would do something about the pet games. 

They are too boring (more so redundant) for the minimal rewards you get from them. I understand that's why they put the mega snacks in, but let's face it, I will never be buying any of them. $5 is just too much to pay for them. And I do have gardens full of supposed plants that drop said snacks. So far out of 50 harvests, I've gotten 3. Yes folks, just three.

Sparky that I finally leveled up to adult. Really enjoy having him along side my diviner.

Been trying to farm Astraeus to get the Sea Dragon pet. Really don't like this pet much, as I think it's ugly. not ugly ugly, I just don't find it attractive along side wizards. Especially because it behaves a lot like a seal, or a walrus. Which gets me to thinking, why is it a sea dragon, if it's really a walrus/seal? Hmm, confusing, yes it is. To me. Anyway. :)

Duke Buddy finally made it to adult as well. Had been playing with him as a baby for ages.

Zaolan and I had considered hatching for the sea dragon, but since we are not wanting them to add to our collection, but to give the best stats possible for our Pyro's, farming is the only option. As buying the pet with crowns is a no go all around. I've leveled quite a few fire based pets already to adult, getting nothing but selfish talents from them, as has Z. So, we decided this was proabably our best bet.

All though word is the Mander pets give pretty good stats. Still need to check that out on the Petnome. @ladyofblades on Twitter suggested we give this pet a try, as she states it does nicely for pyro's. I'm not sure I've leveled my mander past teen, if even to teen, so will definitely look in to this pet. I also need to get a Sun Bird (the one from Crimson Fields) to try and see how that fares. Have yet to get it as a drop though.

Other than pet searching for Aedan, I managed to get him his Master Artisan badge. Now only Mycin and Fallon need to catch up. But they can not, as they can't reach DS yet lol. Mycin is currently working on the Mooshu crafting quests, and Fallon is waiting to head to Marleybone to receive her next quests. Oh, and speaking of Aedan, we finally finished the Grizzleheim quest lines for him and Calamity this past week. Now all we have left are DS and CL to do for them. Woot.

This dropped for Aedan after defeating Jotun for the first time. :)

Fallon and Alura are still in Krok, but have finished the quest lines in Grizzy up to level 25. They just leveled up and got the notice from Ambrose that they are needed once again to help their fine land and it's people. We are kind of taking things slow on those two characters, since they are supposed to be running around with Kristen, Grace's storm wiz. Since she's not on a lot though however, we randomly get on and do some light questing when we are bored of the more hard core stuff from other characters.

Also, to deal with boredom of the game, we decided to venture back on over to Runescape. We chose RS vs MapleStory, or LOTRO because well, you don't need to download anything. With my computer, it's all fine and dandy. But Z is still running on a laptop with minimal storage space. He has less than a few gigs left on his hard drive and this is with out having any media at all stored on his computer. He actually has it all stored on mine and he streams it via networking when he wants to see a picture, or listen to music! Lol.

Anyway, we had to create new characters, as RS pruned it's inactive members last year...so bye bye my old character, and welcome the new. I chose this time around to have a Rune Maker. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing on this game. But, we are just basically running around doing this here and that there. Not sure where we're supposed to go, what we're supposed to do. We are trying to complete our tasks, as well as pick up quests. Really confused on how leveling works.

Oh well. Might start signing on to DDO some more just to do something -different- than the same old stuff with wizard101. I really must commend all you players with multiple legendaries, heckhound, multiple accounts filled with wizards either completely leveled up, or being worked on leveling up. Ah-mazing. I don't know how you do it! Lol. I fall asleep literally doing long dungeons any more.. only time I don't really is if there is a full party and there is lots of convo. 

I only for the first time in a long time, didn't fall asleep this last Mali run, because we were running with @aaronlightwalk from twitter, ((I hope that is his name, because I can't open up twitter to see, the page has been refusing to load for days now.. *kicks it*)) and his son. Had a fun time though helping his son defeat Malistaire for the first time. Feel bad though that the other day Richard asked if we could help him farm Malistaire for his robe, and we had to turn him down. I forget what we were doing, but I think we were actually in the dungeon to defeat Jotun on Aedan and Calamity.
